Avanti Il Capo Continuous Fill Commercial Bed Bug Steamer (96 PSI)

Bed Bug Supply Review - see what our experts have to say about this product
Il Capo is deceptive. It looks small, compact, almost friendly, save for the very serious piano black paint job. But inside this lightweight little body is the most powerful boiler and heating element we've ever seen, capable of tip temperatures over 300 degrees and whopping 96-PSI steam.
From the moment we unboxed Il Capo, we were taken aback by its unique design and construction. There are clear cues of Italian design in the minimalistic body, which is absent of any cluttered dials and switches. Rather than manage steam adjustment on the body, Vapor Clean opted for a unique and intuitive control design, placing a wheel directly under your thumb when you're holding the gun. This is really smart, because we no longer need to kneel and fiddle with the steamer while working. To adjust the pressure, you simply turn the wheel left or right.
Some might look at the size and capacity of the Il Capo and consider that a con, since it doesn’t hold as much water in its tank as larger competitors. However, Il Capo features continuous flow, meaning it has a second tank that feeds water into the boiler. This means that you can top it off with water as you go, and you don’t need to wait for the steamer to cool down, making the effective steam time infinite.
These specs are overkill for any bed bug job, allowing Il Capo to effortlessly penetrate soft materials like mattresses, walls, and upholstered furniture to kill bed bugs and eggs hiding inside.
For use against bed bugs, you’ll want to use the microfiber towel and some rubber-bands to break up the moisture at the tip to prevent blowing bed bugs all over the place with excessive steam. Use the clever gun-mounted steam adjustment knob to turn the steam pressure down for surface steaming, or up for getting into cracks and crevices. Remember to move the steam nozzle slowly, no more than about one inch per second, to ensure that the treated area is properly exposed to the heat.

Meet the New Boss:
In the past, property managers and pest control professionals had to make a compromise when choosing a professional steam cleaner: either they got a heavy, bulky steamer with lots of horsepower, or they sacrificed power and steam time in favor of portability.
Now, the choice is easier than ever, because Il Capo has combined the best of both worlds. It's the most powerful steamer we have to offer, yet it's one of the lightest at just 10 pounds empty. With dual tanks and continuous fill ability, there's no downtime between filling. Finally, the perfect commercial steamer has arrived.
Il Capo comes with a whopping 20 attachments, with an attachment for anything that could need cleaning or sanitizing. The entire unit and its attachments are made in Italy, and it features a Ceme solenoid to prevent water buildup in the hose. The boiler is backed by a lifetime warranty, and the body and attachments have a one-year limited warranty.
