This morning when I walked back to my bed from the bathroom I saw a tiny, thin brownish bug crawling on my pillow. I inspected my sheets and mattress cover after that and saw like four teeny tiny dots of red, which looks like blood, but no other spots had blood. There were a few super hard little yellowish-white skin looking things on the sheets and the mattress cover, as well as some hard other colors. I was wondering if anyone could identify these as eggs or shed skin? Or is it something else? I picked them up and moved them onto my windowsill which is a bit dirty so disregard the black little specs. Just want to know what the circled things are and if I’m dealing with bed bugs. The two on the bottom that look like they’re stuck together are actually two separate ones.
It’s hard to say whether those skins are from bed bugs or a similar pest. The best way to know for sure would be to begin monitoring for bugs that attempt to enter your bed for feeding. Move your bed from the wall and other furniture, then measure the legs to see which of these ClimbUp Interceptors they’ll fit in.
