Using Luna's breathable Airflow Technology, air is able to pass through the protector, but harmful bed bugs, dust mites, bacteria, and fungus are repelled. Luna pillow protectors are great for allergy, asthma, eczema and rhinitis sufferers with their premium level of protection and ability to be easily machine laundered. Fluids passed through the mouth and nose are also prevented from passing into the pillow where they can create an ideal environment for bacteria, mold and fungus.

Luna pillow protectors are great for those with allergies or asthma. Utilizing a hypoallergenic cotton terry cover along with a polyurethane breathable membrane layer, 99% of dust mites, bacteria and fungus are unable to pass through. Periodically remove the pillow protector and wash with your sheets for best results (please see our Care Instructions and Dust Mite section). Luna pillow protectors work by using an exclusive hypoallergenic terry cotton toweling bonded with a waterproof polyurethane membrane layer. To enable the pillow to still breathe, Luna utilizes an exclusive Airflow Technology made up of proprietary microscopic pores in the polyurethane layer. These pores allow air to pass through while preventing liquids from penetrating. A zippered design is then used to seal off the pillow and to prevent penetration from dust mites, bacteria, fluids and other allergy triggers.
